Brief description:

Taronga Zoo is must-visit for any animal lover visiting Sydney. Not only will you find your favorite animals here, but you’ll also learn more about Taronga and their efforts to conserve wildlife and the world around us. Get to know more about the endangered species that have been rehabilitated by the zoo staff and now call the zoo home.

What you get:

Your Taronga Zoo Sydney tickets include general admission to the zoo, a ride on the Sky Safari* and all of its regular exhibits and areas. With over 4,000 animals to see and more than 20 keeper talks a day, you’ll find no shortage of things to see and do at the zoo.

Start your day at the Australian Walkabout and come face-to-face with the local wildlife. See platypus, koalas, emus, kangaroos and more. Then venture over to Lemur Forest or visit the giraffes on your way to the Kids Trail.

Kids and adults alike will love all the critters that live on Kids Trail. See Tasmanian Devils, quokkas, wombats, goats, and alpacas. There are plenty of shows and talks to catch here.

Make sure you don’t miss Seal Walk and the Rainforest Trail either. Some of your favorite animals are sure to be roaming their exhibits here. Visit seals, penguins, elephants, monkeys and beyond. Watch as seals and otters splash through the water. Enjoy the chance to see all of the animals interacting within their habitats.

In addition to all the wonderful animal habitats, you’ll also find the Centenary Theater, Seal Shows, Forage & Graze Café, shops, The View Restaurant and Taronga Food Market to keep you busy throughout the day. If you get tired of walking from one side of the zoo to another, hop on the Sky Safari and see it all from above!

Most importantly, make sure to catch a few of the talks and presentations by the expert staff. Taronga is a non-profit wildlife conservation organization that constantly works towards saving endangered species and protecting wildlife habitat. One of the best parts of visiting the zoo is learning more how we can do our part to help save the animals and the world.
